Founded by Casey Forbes in 2014, Casey & Company Bespoke Design is a design firm based in the historic neighborhood of Georgetown, Washington, DC.
Casey began her career in 2000 founding a real estate investment company whose mission was to transform undervalued properties into beautiful homes whose true value was realized. She has, before and since, traveled the globe studying design, art, architecture, and cultural anthropology ~ applying her knowledge to projects that span four continents and three islands. Her strong interest in historic preservation and gardens leads Casey to regard a project from the first step of the property line incorporating these outdoor "rooms" into overall design ethos.
Casey is a licensed General Contractor and Registered Permit Expediter in the District of Columbia. She is an Associate Member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association), a Professional NCIDQ (National Counsel of Interior Design Qualification) qualified applicant, has served in the historic, cultural, and artistically significant public gardens of Harvard University’s Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collections, and held board positions in both the public gardens of Eden State Park and the historic Wesley House and the Doha Garden Club.
