Lighting designer Clarence Mallari took a time-honored shape, the traditional bell jar, and gave it an edge when he created our Obidah Lantern. Whereas you would expect this shape to be rendered in glass, he has chosen to fashion it from punched wrought iron that has been treated to a Molé black finish. The material he chose for this black pendant light reflects the rustic nature of its history, which gives the fixture a bit of a design surprise.
