• PLANTING GUIDANCE: For best results, plant in USDA Zones 3-8. Mature height is 3-5ft, mature spread is 3-5ft. Grows well in full sun or partial shade. Prune in late winter/early spring. Apply a controlled release fertilizer in early spring. A supplemental dose of liquid feed may be needed in mid summer. Soil pH does not affect bloom color.
• If purchasing late fall through winter: This is a deciduous shrub, which means this plant will lose their leaves (go “dormant”) in the fall and winter. Leaves will change color, can curl up & eventually fall off. Don’t be alarmed, like many living things deciduous plants need to hibernate, this is a normal part of their life cycle and are resting up for beautiful regrowth in the spring.
