This beautiful evergreen shrub will grow to about 3' tall and wide. It has an upright habit and is found in tropical areas, thus it does not tolerate frost. It does well in foggy areas and afternoon shade. It must be protected from windy areas. It has pointed, dark green leaves with tubular red-orange flowers that hang like bells. It will bloom nearly all year in warm areas. It does best in well draining, fertile, moist not soggy soil. Fertilize every 2 weeks during growing season. Mulch plant well. Deadhead old flowers and prune to desired shape in winter.
